NDR Big Band Studio Hamburg
The Norddeutsche Rundfunk is the public radio and TV broadcaster for northern Germany. The NDR Big Band is one of the leading international Jazz Big Bands. Since 2008, the NDR Big Band is under the artistic directorship of Jörg Achim Kelle. It has been awarded numerous international prices, for example the US American “Independent Music Award“ in the category „Best Jazz Album“ with Omar Sosa in 2010 and 2013 the Echo Jazz Award for a production with Stefano Bollani.
