Sky Sport Broadcastcenter „THE CUBE“ Unterföhring
Sky Germany realized next to its headquarter in Munich a new high-end broadcast and production center for sky sport channels.
With a total of more than 8.500m² for production and administration „THE CUBE“ is one of the biggest production center for sports in Europe. It consists of four studios (2 x 600m² und 2 x 250m²), control rooms, facilities for postproduction, playout, tech and administration. The invest is a two digit million amount.
Starting summer 2017 all relevant content for live sport on sky, such as Sky Bundesliga Konferenz, „Alle Spiele, alle Tore“, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, EHF Handball Champions League, Golf, Tennis and Formula 1, as well as digital content will be produced in the new facility.
Within „THE CUBE“ 40 new full time jobs and 50 to 80 freelance-positions in the field of studio production and play out will be created.
